Week 1, Day 1

Today was my first day at ITESM and also my first "Public Speaking and Academic Writing" class with the teacher Nico Wiersema. It was interesting to see some friends from high school in the same class, but it was a lot more interesting to know which skills I'm going to be able to develop. I hope this class will help me a lot, especially on losing the fear of talking at the front of a group of people. We also learned the class mission, objectives and policies. Finally we answered 4 questions on a webpage, where we had to write what we expected from the course, from us, from our classmates and from our teachers for this semester. I expect this class to be full of useful tools, that later on I would be able to use not only in this class, but in all my life when giving speeches or making formal writings.
